Oh for the love of all that is holy...

...can we PUH-LEASE have a little less heat?!?!

I know this is July, and yes, I'm aware of the fact that I live in Utah, but for the love of God could we get some rain?

In case there's anyone bored enough to be reading this who doesn't know me very well: Danielle and the sun don't like each other much. All I can say is thank heavens for the fact that I married an HVAC Technician. At least it's comfortable in my house. :-)

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... a duck and a rabbi walk into a bar. Just kidding...I have no idea what the end of that joke is. I'm just very bored today. (obviously)

2007 SLC Car Show!

Ooooookkkkkkkk......the 2007 Car Show!

Kip and I went with our friends, Elton & Melanie, and their family.

We saw my aunt and uncle (Jan & Brad) there as well. They had their grandson, Tanner, with them. (Mom is my cousin, Jamie.)

Here are a few pics of some of the displays. Yes, I included some Ford stuff to round out this post. (Against my better judgement.) ha ha ha

This is the Ford Reflex concept car. It boasts 500 hp.
This is the Ford Bronco concept. I admit I kind of like this...
This is Tanner. This is the best pic I could get of him. The kid is CONSTANTLY MOVING! :-)

Front view of the Charger SRT8 SuperBee... 6.1 L HEMI!
This is the new four-door Jeep...really nice
This is the Crysler Crossfire sedan concept. I seem to be the only one who thought this was cool. The Creme de la Creme (in my opinion): the Charger Daytona in vintage Sublime. This one is equipped with the 5.7 L HEMI.
This is the infamous Jessica. She is Elton & Melanie's daughter. I have mentioned her in previous posts (predjudice instead of polygamist?) ha ha ha
Another view of the SuperBee...

Kip...

My husband finally let me take a picture of him. So, heeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrre's Kip!

CHRISTMAS PICS!

This pic was taken at Kip's Aunt Anna's house. Oh, and Uncle Jim lives there too. :-) These cute girls are, from left to right: Kensey (I probably spelled her name wrong; sorry, Kate!), Sarah, Maddie, and Sadie. Kensey and Sadie are Thom's kids and Sarah (I call her Louie) and Maddie are Dave's kids. (Thom and Dave are Kip's cousins, but I've known Thom longer than I've known Kip because I went to high school with Thom.)

Here's my Christmas tree. Yes the picture is sideways. I just got this new digital camera for Christmas from my Mom. I'm too lazy to flip the picture the right way so just tilt your head. :-)

This is Molli. Her dad is my cousin, Shayne. Molli will be three in February. This picture was taken at her Grandpa and Grandma Hoover's house.

This is Tanner, my cousin Jamie's son. He turned three in November. Yes, he is wearing a purple tutu. It's his cousin Molli's. Guess he's getting ready for the arrival of his little sister in April 2007.

This one is of my Grandma Hoover. It was a surprise shot. I tried to get one of Grandpa Hoover but all he did was turn his head and swear at me.

TWO CHIX UP AND COMING!

I have updated the Two Chix website with a few crude pix from a digital camera. I'm going to have the pics done professionally though so you can see the brilliance of the Swarovski crystals and get a more accurate portrayal of the colors. I have a couple of bracelets made with the coolest blue color. It's a dark, smoky blue called, "Montana". VERY pretty and goes with dang near everything. So check it out! www.twochixjewelry.blogspot.com!

Sad Moment in History...

Well, it's official. I sold the Avenger. She broke down on me again about a week ago. I just can't keep her running. I sold her to a mechanic friend of mine who will be able to take the time to get her running again.

I took pictures...I will post them later.

Here's to you, Ginger the Wonder Avenger...August 19, 1996 - November 5, 2006. 232,938 original miles on the original engine and trans. Above and beyond for a 24 valve, 2.7 Liter, V6 Dodge.

Curtain call.

The Avenger...

So Mikey came out to put the new starter in the Avenger. Come to find out you have to drop the motor mounts and the exhaust to get to the starter. Ok fine. We get the new starter in. IT'S BAD! All it does is whine! I can't believe I was sold a bad starter!

I called the shop that sold it to me. They're going to find another one for me. I'll give them one more chance. I'm a tad peeved though. I REALLY want to drive my car!

I'll keep you posted...
